GLBT-friendly Business Directory

The Pride Center is now taking ads and listings for the new business directory of GLBT-friendly businesses, services, and organizations. The directory will be an 8.5 x 11 inch book, and will include COLOR (if there is enough interest)! It will be distributed by mail and via public distribution throughout the Tri-Cities area. PDFs will also be available for downloading from the Pride Center’s Home page

Submission Guidelines

All ads must be submitted and paid for by the 15th of the month prior to the next issue. Classified ads are available to individuals for non-commercial purposes. Each classified ad may contain up to 300 characters, including spaces and punctuation.

Romance/Personal ads are available to any individual and may contain up to 30 words. Your name and contact information will not appear in the ad. You will be assigned a box number and will be required to pick up responses from the Pride Center. Photo identification must be presented to retrieve your responses.

Businesses, organizations, and individuals who wish to advertise their products or services must purchase a business ad. No 900-number ads will be accepted. If you don’t have a business card, we’ll design a simple business card ad for you for a one-time fee of $15. Design rates for larger or more complex ads will be quoted on a case-by-case basis.

A Word About File Formats

Word and plain text files are preferred for text; PDFs are also acceptable. We can also take most graphic formats for artwork, but please make sure the resolution of included TIFFs or JPGs is at least 250dpi. We can also scan your business card (please include an extra week*), but remember that the scan will be no better than the original.

If you have any questions about formats, please call Brooks at (808) 352-4809 (*yes, he is in Hawaii, which is three hours earlier than Arizona, and is part of the need for extra time for scanning). You may also send your submission via email to info@prescottpridecenter.com.
